I have over the years (27 now - ouch) collected quite a few
achievement’s that i must admit I’m rather proud of.
I started at the tender age of 9 acting, well at the time i
didn’t quite know what i was doing but i did know i was having a
great time.
I managed to get the leading role in what was to be a Personal
and local triumph i was Jamie in “Jamie and the Buzz”
I managed to beat off 10,000 + other boys to get the part
and the funny thing about it was i didn’t really know
what was going on i was just loving every minute of it.
“Jamie and the Buzz” was created to offer a visual means
of educating children about the many dangerous people and
opportunities that faced them in such a large City like Glasgow.
It was an absolute joy doing the film and for many years
i carried the local celeb status, which inadvertently supplied
the already over active ego.
I was 10 when some rather Arty looking individuals came
looking for school children for a a new local film back in 1990.
As i wasn’t always the teachers pet, getting time to attend these
mass auditions wasn’t easy, fortunately for me the teachers pet
didn’t want to do it (not academic enough i guess) so off i trotted.
The one and only… “Lager” - this film was born and bred in Amsterdam
it captures the madness and the crazy times for all to see. Directed
by Danny Bruce and acted in by none other than yours truly i bring
you LAGER.
Danny came up with the idea of Lager after working in his
pub, the notorious Mr Co Co’s on the junkie laden Nieuwendijk.
The people he came across and the sights he seen all compacted into
30 minutes of pure 100% Amsterdam. There’s shooting, smoking
and drugs and well of course, you guessed it...SEX.
there's also some shady scenes that you might not want the kids to see, so be warned.
